Stock ratings are divided into three areas: Price-Performance, Finance and Profitability. Finance covers debt, capital structure, expenses and growth. Price-Performance looks at ratios between key figures and the company's market value. Profitability is an overall assessment of margins – in simple terms it shows a company's profit. It considers not only the snapshot but also past years and forecasts for a complete picture.
