Cycle-Rating: cheap or expensive versus own history, not versus peers.

Not a live score – the maths behind it.
For SAP SE the Cycle-Rating does not ask “is SAP cheaper than Microsoft?”. It asks whether SAP currently stands cheap or expensive versus SAP itself.
Six ratios are computed daily for that: P/E, price-to-cash-flow, P/B, P/S, price-to-liabilities and dividend yield. Every daily value is ranked within the stock's entire own history, not against the sector, but against everything this stock has ever been. If the P/E sits higher than on 80% of all past days, it is expensive. Dividend yield is read the other way round: a high yield means cheap.
The six ranks are averaged with equal weight and inverted: a high Cycle-Rating means historically cheap, a low one historically expensive. Three details keep the number honest:
Without a strong Business-Rating, a cheap cycle is not a buy case. If the business model has broken, its own history is worth less, so read Business-Rating first.
The one number for your shortlist. Combines quality, fundamentals and timing.
